Patty Stevenson Brandel's art takes many forms, including painting, photography, and gardening.

In her own words, "Many years ago I always found myself drawn to the art classes and clubs in my high-school.

In community college I remember my favorite classes involved something creative (Oil Painting , Art History, etc ) 

As I furthered my education to become an elementary school teacher, I eventually also became a full- time stay at home mom to two beautiful daughters. My hobbies and interests changed. I found myself doing many other types of activities. 

Now, my girls are in college and I have found the time to "begin again "~ doing some of the things that truly interest me. I have started to paint and explore color and flowers further. 

I absolutely love color, flowers and gardening ! Combine  that with painting and a bit of photography and I am beginning to grow and improve my skills. I hope one day to take formal classes to learn more about oils and even try watercolors.
