About

Painter Kathy Tussing holds a degree in psychology from Hobart and William colleges and a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from State University of New York at Buffalo. She moved to Buffalo in 1981 where

her work was shown in Impact Gallery's National Portrait Exhibition in Sept. 2007, Artsphere's Garden Mystique show in July 2007, a two-woman show with Sandra Bartz at Unity Church in Sept. of 2009, the Infringement Festival in 2010 and 2014, a one- woman show at El Buen Amigo in 2010, and Impact Gallery's National Women's Juried Exhibition in June 2012, where she was given an Honorable Mention.

Kathy is also a poet, published most recently in A Celebration of Western New York Poets, edited by Patricia Tansey.

UHAA

Kathy exhibits her work in the UHAA Arts Crawl Partnering Program.

As an artist-presenter of UHAA! Festival 2014, Kathy offered poetry readings along with Patricia Tansey and other poets of, "A Celebration of Western New York Poets".
