MC Zill, the hip-hop music of Jeff Grossi, writes music about positivity and creating awareness in society. The message of MC Zill's Common Core video, "We're Teaching" is that unfair testing standards associated with Common Core--not teachers--fail some students, especially those with disabilities or other compromises.

The music video was created in Buffalo, New York. MC ZiLL wrote the song with production assistance from his fiancee, Kate Bernard and Buffalo Music Hall of Fame artist, Eric Crittenden. The song was mixed and mastered by AJ Hury, and the videography was done by Jacob Payne.

Jeff Grossi is a mathematics teacher and a musician.
